Our Story

Pet Peacock to Farm

We began with one beautiful silver pied peacock – Wesley but the bird bug bit. Chickens followed and turkeys took over from peafowl. We will never forget Wesley, Princess Buttercup or Willow.

Our Philosophy

Our birds are pets and we treat them so. But, as animals with incredible agency, they come and go free-ranging but mostly staying home at night.

We make sure they have plenty of food and water but they entertain themselves all day. They are real good at enforcing their hierarchy and, though it may sound like junior high at times, they all get along pretty well.

Our First

Wesley was a great bird but, given the opportunity to free range one day, he alighted to the sky and was never seen again.

Ours is an amateur farm and while we occasionally have eggs on offer, there isn’t a consistent sales process
